Oh No! Angry Birds Are Out of Control!

My name is Kelly and I am an addict– to Angry Birds– that is. Since about four months ago, I have been helplessly engulfed with the highly addictive, yet aggravating Android App. Now I have my children and my husband grabbing my Droid every time I put it down. What’s worse? I had to buy a used non-activated cell phone with the app already on it so there would be an extra in the house for when I am playing.

What is Angry Birds? It’s a story-based game about pigs stealing eggs from the birds. The player spends the next several months addicted to helping the birds get their eggs back. How crazy is that? The pigs are very annoying. They laugh at the payer when they miss. It’s pretty sad. I took the time to conduct an Angry Birds interview.

“I love the game because it always give me a new challenge”, states Wesley, age 13 of Lynchburg, VA.

“I like the game because it’s addictive and you want to get your stuff back in the game. I love the cartoons in them”, states 10 year-old Chris of Lynchburg, VA.

“For me, it’s very addictive and strategic. It offers a challenge. You have to look for ways to hit the setups in order for them to collapse”, states a non-disclosed Lynchburg Virginia Police Officer.

For whatever reason, everyone who has access to a compatible device is hooked. I’ve only ran into one person so far in my investigation who hates the game.

“I think it’s the dumbest game ever created. I hate Angry Birds“, stated Dan, of Madison Hights, VA.

If the creators of Angry Birds and the owners of Android don’t have a business agreement, they should. Angry Birds game access alone is one reason people are purchasing Android Cell phones. From what I understand from a local Verizon Wireless retailer, these irritating, laughing pigs are also responsible for insurance and device protection claims.

“People are just throwing their phones because they get so frustrated. This app is definitely good for the cell phone business and those of us who live off of commission”, stated Dwaine, a Verizon sales agent.

The popular game can be found at the Android Market for free download. If just plain Angry Birds is not enough, there is also a second app called Angry Birds Seasons with all new levels and many more pigs to destroy.

Remember not to play and drive and please respect all no-fly zones such as church services, school class rooms, movie theaters, business meetings and any other specified locations.
