Lloyd F. Moss Free Clinic accepts all volunteers for a variety of positions. The Moss Free Clinic cares for patients of all ages for most major situations. This clinic, though located on the Mary Washington Hospital campus, is not part of Mary Washington Hospital, but, rather, has an agreement with the emergency room at the hospital for the safety of their patients. Volunteering at the Lloyd F. Moss Free Clinic allows for flexible volunteer hours while receiving hands-on health demonstrations.
If helping people out is just not something you want to experience, there is also the Stafford SPCA. Although not fully built yet, the Stafford SPCA offers volunteer opportunities from fostering a kitten to assisting on adoption day. They also offer opportunities that allow volunteers to take part in caring for cats.
