O Rain! You Come

O God of rain,why don’t you listen to our pray?

We, the creations of the supreme,have nothing in our tray.

Your are mighty enough to turn our dark nights into shining days ,

But ,when? there is no one to convey.

People believe that you have got millions of eyes

Can you not see that our mother earth has fallen dry ?

There is no fodder, no grain;all efforts we make, go in vain.

We are looking for you to come and stop this mayhem.

Tiny pods want to grow,why don’t you let them go trough?

They need your blessings,please give them your wet kissing.

The deep craters of the barren land,and dried up plants of yellow sands;

Are asking for your grace,come, give them solace.

Non-speaking creations of the God, are now crying aloud;

Riding on the vehicle of grey cloud,you come soon, make them proud.

We are eager to see you now, tell us where, when and how?

O! yes, you are coming, you have come ,we all saw.
