My Personal Collection of Inspirational Bible Verses

Growing up in a strict Christian home I often have to rely on the words of God to keep me joyful, hopeful, and enduring. One of the best things about being a Christian is that God provides us with multiple scriptures to keep us going and our eyes stayed on him. Here is my list of bible verses to inspire you.

1 John 4:9-10

“We love Him because He first loved us.” I find myself saying this verse to myself often before I pray. I love knowing that I am praying to a God that loved me first. Whenever I am starting to feel like I am a mistake and there is no place for me anywhere and I never did and never will belong I hear he loved me first.

Romans 1:17

“And Jesus said unto them … , “If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to younder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you.” This verse means so much to me being that I am a rather ambitious young girl. I have so many dreams and goals set for myself, but I know if I have faith as little as a grain of mustard seed I can move a mountain. So what are a few worldly dreams and goals to a mountain? My faith is in God not my career.

Matthew 19:26

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Being a career minded person this verse has saved me a lot of anxiety. I find myself always wanting what seems to be the impossible, but I have to stop and tell myself no worries because with God all things are possible.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” One night when I was sleeping I heard this verse. God was speaking to me I believe he was warning me about my future, and to acknowledge him not my career and not my accomplishments because after all I would have not received them if not for God.

Proverbs 16:3

“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” As someone who is thirsting for success, I am still purposely committed to God. I made sure years ago that I will always put God first and higher up on my list of things of importance. I am committed to God neither my education nor my career has a leg to stand on when it comes to God, and because I am committed to God my plans have no choice than to succeed.

Building my own personal relationship with God is a journey I will never forget, but I know that God loves me and in God there is no respect of person. It is good knowing that “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. ” Hebrews 13:8
