My Favorite Book of 2011 by Jeaniene Frost

My favorite book of 2011 is one by Jeaniene Frost called One Grave at a Time. Jeaniene Frost has set the stage for a new trend in mystery novels. This USA today best seller of One Grave at a Time combines romance, action and suspense in a vampire novel that is extremely hard to put down.

In this novel, one vampire who goes by the name of “Cat” tells her adventurous story of how she saves the lives of three women. Through powers that Cat has borrowed from those she drank from, ghosts are drawn to her.

Due to this vibration that ghosts feel from this young vampire, one very old ghost is brought to Cat for help. This request turns out to be a Halloween adventure that will lead to a roller coaster of emotions and strength for her and her husband.

Bones and Cat works together with an unexpected human friend to summon a ghost that would become obsessed with killing Cat. From silver bullets, cars, and fire Cat must learn to survive and fight back.

Everyone involved must give up comfort, privacy, and food while learning to get along with each other in order to work for the common good of sending one murderous ghost to an eternal prison.

Cat must play the game to figure out who the ghost’s victims are. With a trick up his sleeve the ghost manages to turn the tables on Cat. When cat finally figures out the clues to the victim’s, she must face the challenge of facing the ghost alone. Will Cat succeed or will the ghost send her to an eternal end leaving her husband alone?

Jeaniene provides combustible love and romance mixed with a historical twist. Mrs. Frost writes an incredible story that puts the Twilight Saga to shame. Her take on the vampire lifestyle takes you into a whole other world. If you are looking for an escape from your own reality, this book is definitely one for you to read.

All thirty- eight chapters that Jeaniene Frost has written in one Grave at a Time is worth your every moment you spend on this book. However, when reading One Grave at a Time, practice caution because you may lose sleep due to the inability to put the book down.
