Michael Jackson – His Private Treasures

The auctioneer’s hammer will fall and announce the sale and movement of items from Michael Jackson’s home into the realm of collector’s memorabilia. Julien’s, an auction company, will offer the entire contents of famed Michael Jackson’s home on, North Carolwood Drive in L.A., for sale on December 17, 2011. Jackson forbade anyone to enter his personal suite of rooms and the treasured furniture and accessories from his suite is expected to fetch substantial sums at the auction.

Jackson’s bed may spur frenetic bidding at the sale. A California queen-sized bed, it is where Jackson took his last breath.

Armoire. The star’s personal armoire has a note he wrote to himself. He read the words when he stood in front of the armoire. He wanted the message to help him stay focused on creating a successful tour. Collectors have shown much interest in this item.

Sofa and Chairs. An area for relaxing and watching television, located off to one side of the bedroom, contained Jackson’s personal television, sofa and a few chairs. Jackson made frequent use of this furniture; so, one can expect feverish bidding on these items.

Oriental rugs, drapes, lamps and accessories, from Jackson’s personal suite show the star’s taste for elegant decor. The auctioneers expect all items to sell quickly on the day of the auction.
