Man Drowns Two Boys in Dallas

When I sat down at the breakfast table and read the story in The Dallas Morning News about this animal, Nain Rasool Muhammad, who kidnapped and drowned his two children, Naim, 5, and Elijah, 3, I was astonished. Not because of what this violent, drug addicted, sociopath did; but because of what transpired. If you missed it, here it is:

At 7:15 in the morning, Mohammad, who has a history of domestic abuse, drove up to the boy’s mother as she was walking the boys to their first day of school and got out of the car with a brick in his hand, ordering the two boys and their mother to get into the car. After getting into the vehicle, the mother was able to jump out and run for help. She spotted a Dallas County Constable at a service station and approached it screaming, “Get that car. Get that car. He’s got my kids. He’s going to kill my kids.” The deputy responded by telling the woman that she could not chase the vehicle because she did not have flashing lights or sirens. You have got to be friggin’ kidding me.

I have heard of asinine things before, but this tops the cake. The deputy contacted the Dallas police, but by the time they found Mohammed at 12:40 p.m., he had drowned the two boys. Even a Good Samaritan would have responded by chasing the man; but the constable could not. Sounds to me like the deputy was just being lazy or perhaps she had not finished her coffee and donuts. Is this really Dallas County policy? If it is, someone needs to get fired.
