Jerice Hunter’s Father Charges Her Arrest is Racial

Mr. Hunter thinks that the police want to turn blacks against blacks, that I do not get. Why are blacks going to be against blacks? This is about a 5-year-old child, it would not matter if she was orange. We are all human beings, and Mr. Hunter, your not going to make your daughter look any less guilty by trying to play the race card. Ask your mother, Tammy, Mahogany, Lisa and there are a few more who were not named who believe Jerice had something to do with this. In one conversation, they said it was not unusual to see marks, bruises on the children. Is that okay Mr. Hunter? Is it okay for a woman with a history of child abuse to leave bruises on her kids.

Who do you think gave police information that Jhessye had been abused? It was not Mahogany, they already knew what she said. There is only one place that they could have gotten that information. That would be the children in the states care. I am sure you would respond with some white lady made them say that. I doubt as afraid of your daughter as those kids have to be, that anyone could make them say anything. Those children were brutalized by your daughter, it is in the court records, she pled to it. Then her mother gives them back to her. I do not care if she were Mother Theresa, those kids had to be terrified. So maybe if you see nothing wrong with traumatizing your grandchildren, you can try to put it on anybody but Jerice.

I might point out Mr. Hunter the police had the fact that your daughter told three different stories as to what happened before she left that day to run errands. One time it was, the older kids were in the back room doing chores and she told Jhessye to watch television. Another time she said that the older kids were in the back yard and she locked Jhessye in the house so she would be safe. Then it was, the older kids were out playing and Jhessye was getting ready to join them. You can’t have it all those ways, no way you can misunderstand what she said. The police had the fact that Jhessye missed a week and a half of school before she went missing. Nothing has come out about finding medicine for what was reported as ringworm. They kept looking for Jhessye and told the public to keep looking for her. I guess that was racist, trying to find the child.

I am understanding about this being your daughter, to a point. When you try and blame racism for something that anyone who has followed this case, knew was bound to happen, it makes me angry. You say your daughter has nothing to hide? Why would she not cooperate with the police? Why did she tell the public she had been begging them for a polygraph and then refuse to take one? Why did she stop looking for Jhessye. Ms. Johnson said Jerice had been vilified over and over, but I guess if it were a white woman, it would be okay to bring up her past. This being a missing child, I guess because Jerice was black, everyone should have ignored her past, ignored her lies and ignored her inconsistancies. That is not gonna happen. She is not charged with abusing a dog or a cat. She is charged with abusing a child, your grand child.

The race card is not in this case. This is about your grandchild, evidently named after you, and you want to blame white people because your daughter has lied, refused to cooperate? Ask her what was in the suitcase the police carried out? Ask your grandchildren what happened.

There are times when I see white people that make me ashamed to be white. The people who are racist like you Mr. Hunter, but are white, make me ashamed. That is the first thing that came out of your mouth. So, in anger, the first thing you do is yell race. The police let your daughter go for a month, knowing she changed her story, knowing she was refusing a polygraph, which Mr. Hunter, is a regular event for any parent whose child goes missing. Most want to take it, so they can be cleared and police can go in another direction to find their child. Not your daughter, she refused to take one. Even white people have to take one. They never called her a suspect. Never said one thing about her not cooperating. They let her lie to the public and did not open their mouths.

I feel sorry for your Mr. Hunter, for several reasons, you care so little for that beautiful baby who is named after you, that you do not want the police to check every angle. They can check anyone except one of the last people to see her. I feel sorry for you when the first words out of your mouth when you are angry is, its because somebody is black. I feel sorry for you because your daughter is going to have to admit what she did. Your mother and Tammy both said she is going to have to be punished. Are they racists. No, they just loved that child and know that when you look at all the evidence, just evidence the public has been aware of, Jerice is the only one they should be looking at. I feel sorry for you Mr. Hunter, because it will come out and you will not be able to yell racism, when your daughter admits to harming your namesake.

There will be no black against black, there will be no black against white, we are united for the cause of the baby, we all want justice for her. Its sad that you don’t want the same.
