HTC Sensation 4G Owned and Reviewed

Recently I traded in my old HTC Desire in 3G for the newer HTC Sensation that runs on a 4G network. Seems like a very good upgrade to me. The Sensation is the second HTC Android phone I have owned, and so far I am very happy with it.

What I like:

The Sensation has a very nice screen, it is big and sensitive to the touch, works great. I love the design, very similar to my older android phone. The camera works really good, and has a pretty good resolution. If you like playing games, this is the phone for you, everything works quick, the processor is good and it never hangs up on a program. This phone also syncs to my computer much easier than my old phone did.

What I don’t like:

The volume rocker feels a little bit cheesy compared to the more solid volume switch I had on my HTC Desire. The speaker is one thing I really am disappointed with, most noticed when playing music, HTC did not improve it over my old phone. The battery life is the only other thing i can complain about, although I think any smart phone will drain a battery quickly, but I wish the manufactures could improve use time.

Summary:

Overall the phone lives up to its name and is sensational. I love the lock screen, and all of the sense widgets. The sense UI was basically the reason I got the phone. It is the most polished UI for any android phone. Sense actually makes the phone easier to use and just looks better then stock android.

So, in conclusion the HTC Sensation is an outstanding phone, and in my opinion the best smart phone available in the US at this time. Anyone who is looking for a smart phone on T mobile should definitely take a good long look at the Sensation. I think they would be very happy if they picked the Sensation.
