Making a toilet paper roll cover is very simple. All that is needed is a medium size peanut can with a lid and some contact backed shelf paper. Other cans will work as long as they are large enough to hold the toilet paper and have a lid.

Things You’ll Need:

Medium size peanut can
Soap and water
Lint-free towel
Contact backed shelf paper
Ruler
Pencil
Craft knife or scissors

Instructions:

Step 1 – Measure the height and circumference of the can.

Step 2 – Measure, mark and cut a piece of contact backed shelf paper the height of the can and 1-inch longer than the circumference distance.

Step 3 – Remove the backing from the contact backed self paper. Carefully line the top and bottom edges up with the peanut can. Smooth the contact paper around the outside edge of the can. An overlap will occur.

Step 4 – Cover the lid if desired.
