GT’S Enlightened Gingerade Kombucha Review

I’m on a personal quest to find a Kombucha tea that I can drink and actually enjoy since Kombucha typically tastes like vinegar

I am drinking a different Kombucha tea each day to see whether the ancient elixir will help me lose weight.

I was ecstatic after sipping the GT’S Enlightened brand of Gingerade. It’s an organic and raw Kombucha that does not taste like vinegar to me. It tastes like gingerale, with just a very mild vinegar scent.

Called “living food for the living body,” the 16 ounce drink contains enzymes, probiotics and detoxifiers.

According to the label on the glass bottle, G.T. Dave began bottling Kombucha in 1995. I’m looking forward to trying their other flavors.

One serving or 8 ounces contains 30 calories, no fat, 10 mg sodium, 2 grams sugar. The drink contains fresh pressed ginger juice.

Because of the fermentation process, there is a lot of tingling on the tongue. The effervescence makes it seem as though it’s a gingerale soda.

Keep the product and any Kombucha tea refrigerated and do not shake.

The words of enlightenment on my particular bottle were, “Take time for less doing and more being,” by Ubaldo Riboni, an artist living in San Diego, California. To be quoted on the label, you can write to them via facebook.com/GTSsynergykombucha.

Kombucha is a potent drink so ask your doctor before drinking it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Also, check the expiration label on the lid.

The nutrient list is spectacular with Folic Acid, Vitamin B2, B6, B1, B3 and B12.

For taste and nutrition, I give the Kombucha Gingerade a thumbs up. After 30 days of trying different flavors of the Kombucha tea, I hope to report a weight loss.
