Will Arnett is starring in the new sitcom Up All Night. On that TV show, he is playing the character Chris who is dealing with his new life as a stay-at-home father. Up All Night also stars Christina Applegate as his wife. Besides Up All Night, you probably know Will Arnett from he previous TV works on the sitcoms Arrested Development, 30 Rock, and Running Wilde. Will Arnett is married to the SNL alum and Parks and Recreation star, Amy Poehler. Back in 2007, Amy Poehler described their typical day as hanging out in their apartment and watching Oprah or The Wire. She went on to say, “People think we sit around and make each other laugh and stuff, but we’re real homebodies.’”
Fun fact: He calls himself the king of terrible groan jokes.
The actor on his film Blades of Glory: “I probably complained a lot while training, because our trainers would say, ‘Do that but better’ and I was, ‘What? Can’t we just take a break?’”
Will Arnett apparently likes to play the air guitar. In fact, in an interview with Spacemeat, the actor had this to say: “Yeah I do like air guitar and I thought about competing at the highest levels. I have contemplated going to Finland for the air guitar world championship. I have pulled it out a few times on a talk show in America called Conan O’Brian.”
Besides air guitar, he also likes to play country club sports like golf and tennis. And he loves the Xbox game Call of Duty. He got into playing during the writers strike when he had some spare time to kill.
Fun fact: His favorite book is The Grinch.
Arrested Development: His character on Arrested Development was a magician but the actor admits that he can’t do any magic tricks himself.
