Four Great Superbowl Possibilites

With the conference championship games next week. The four remaining teams all have a 50/50 shot to make the Superbowl. No matter who wins this year, the Superbowl should be a classic.

Possibilities

4. New York Giants vs. 1. New England Patriots

Can you say rematch! In 2007 the Patriots went perfect in the regular season only to be spoiled by Eli Manning and the New York Giants 17-14. Don’t you think revenge is on Tom Brady’s mind?

4. New York Giants vs. 2. Baltimore Ravens

No team has been more up and down this season as the Giants, but when they are on, they are on. While the Ravens are the better team on paper, their biggest flaw is they don’t show up every game and play to the level of their opponents. These teams haven’t met since the 2008 season when the Giants rallied a victory 30-10.

2. San Francisco 49ers vs. 1. New England Patriots

While the Patriot’s Tom Brady led offense is known to be explosive, their defense has been anything short of decent. On the other side the 49er’s Alex Smith led offense has been only mediocre at best (Except versus the Rams and Saints), while the defense has been arguably the best of the year. But is that enough to beat Tom Brady? The last NFC West team to play Brady in the Superbowl lost 20-17.

2. San Francisco 49ers vs. 2. Baltimore Ravens

Who wouldn’t want to see the Harbaugh brothers at it again in a battle of elite defenses? The last time these two teams met it was on of the best Thursday night games of the season as John and the Ravens beat Jim and the 49ers 16-6.
