I spent the last two days doing researching and doing an experiment in regards to Alpha males. However, the correlations were just too, normal. The biggest or best looking guys seem to be instinctively AMOGs. So I stopped looking at other men as a guy for leadership (they don’t get attention anyways.) I turned to study women who clearly stand out form the crowd, the ladies that other ladies surround themselves around to figure out how and why they attracted so much attention. They didn’t need to peacock, and many instances, were not the best looking in the group. Here is what I noticed.
They walk at a different tempo than everyone else in the room. They either walk slower or much faster, always with longer steps.
Chins always up. This has been discussed extensively before so I won’t get into it.
Tunnel vision. They don’t get distracted by other people, things, or places. Although they have active peripheral visions (will talk about it later,) they legitimately look like walking statues.
The look of intense focus or silliness. Every single lead girl looks like she has places to go things to do and no one can stop her OR she looks like she is thinking of a joke and trying to hold back from exploding in laughter.
So with these collective ideas in regards to body language I walked through the UCF campus knowing I would find a large spectrum of authority figures. What I found seemed to hold on this college campus as well so I decided to try it out myself. For the first half hour I walked around like every one else, casual/ADD type of walk. Yes, I kept my chin up the entire time but I kept active eyes scanning my surroundings, walking pace similar to other people, and with a normal melancholy facial expression. I was part of the crown, no one noticed me. Perfect for a killer trying to stay low key, but not to improve any kind of social status.
The next 30 minutes I walked slower, longer strides and very deliberate. Slow enough for other people to blow past me. I thought of a joke in my head and tried to keep myself from laughing. I looked at NO ONE, not even if I saw a possible HB10. I caught things out of the corners of my eyes, people noticed. Men moved out of my way when I walked through, and women looked at me and smiled at me. If they were with friends I could expect whispering and waving. In a good distance in front of me I saw an HB9 who happened to be lead woman of her group of friends. I walked and didn’t look at any of them, I looked over their heads actually. I noticed the HB9 break her quick stride as I walked by and turned to look. She caught me NOT looking at her through her peripheral vision and seemed shocked.
I then spent the nest 30 minutes walking faster. There was a direct impact to the faster pace. People looked and moved out of the way but they didn’t smile. The women didn’t smile at me, they just stared when I blew through the crowd.
I sat down with my laptop to write this little tid bit when an HB8 who I didn’t even notice before tapped me on the shoulder and opened me. She asked me what major I was and she has never seen me before. I smiled at her and told her that there are 45,000 students on campus and so the odds of her seeing me before were really slim. Plus this was the first time I’ve been on campus. I turned down at the computer to keep typing while she laughed and just stood there. I told her she was making me uncomfortable because I’ve been watching a lot of TV programs about women preying after young attractive men and she should sit down to look less creepy. We talked for 10 minutes, I told her I had work to do and she was a distraction. She asked me for my number and I said that she should give me hers because if I give her my number I would just give her a fake one to get away from her. So, I got her number, went home and finished writing this.
EVERYONE should try it. It is the easiest thing you can do to get positive attention from everyone around you.
