Easy Spring Trends to Try Right Now

Spring trends in clothes are already popping up in the malls, magazines, and boutiques. And it’s never too early to incorporate a spring thing that you love. If you’re not sure what looks are in, think color, balance, and lots more color. There is something for everyone this spring. Here are a few ideas that I think you’ll love.

Peplum tops. Ok, I hate to admit it, but I didn’t even know what a peplum top was before the royal wedding. Well, now I know, and I think you should, too. A peplum top is a top that has a little apron or ruffle around the bottom. It nips in at your waist, and then subtly flares out at the seam. This top is great for girls that are looking to add a little curviness to their hips. It was originally a very formal look, but this spring, try it in a relaxed sweatshirt or cotton T.

Graphic prints. Big. Bold. Prints. The more eye-catching, the better. Sound a little bit like a nineties throwback? You bet it is! So live it up. You know you loved it.

Pastel and black. This is definitely one of my favorites. A soft pink dress, or pale green blouse look pretty and dainty. But don’t stop there! Add a black blazer or mini black leather jacket to seriously up the edge factor. This trend works great for blouses, flirty skirts, or just about anything you can dream up.

Wide leg jeans. Wide leg jeans are surprisingly flattering when combined with a fitted top. Keep the top slim but not too tight. You don’t want to look sloppy. Wide leg jeans look best with a platform heel, stiletto, or peep toe. A tucked-in top with a belt is great, too.

Bright, tailored pants. If you’re not afraid to make a statement, try a pair of bright, tailored pants. Again, keep the look neat to balance out the bright color. Mix ‘em with a white button down, blazer, and a great pair of leopard print heels.

Surprising pops of color. If you’re not feeling brave enough for the other styles, don’t worry. You’ve got this one in the bag! Add some easy pops of color to any outfit with a brightly hued bag, pair of shoes, or cami. Try a bright fuchsia or even violet. Better yet, neon pink, green, and orange have made quite the comeback.

The best part about this spring’s trends is that they are fun, easy to wear, and don’t have to be expensive. You can stay on track with your budget, look great, and feel even better with these simple, go-to trends.
