Easter Bunny Special. The Southern Appalachia Railway Museum located on Highway 58 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, will be hosting the ‘Easter Bunny Special’ Easter train ride. Children will visit with the Easter bunny as they travel the rails on this hour long trip through Poplar Creek Valley. Tickets are priced at $15.00 per adult, $10.00 per child ages 3 to 12, and children 2 and under are free when they sit on an adult’s lap. Private Party Car with Lauren, The Easter Bunny. The ‘Private Party Car’ special Easter train ride sells out quickly and will last over an hour round-trip. Also hosted by the Southern Appalachia Railway Museum, this special event will allow children to interact with Lauren the Easter Bunny, while parents snap photos. Seats must be reserved early and all tickets are priced at $30.00. A unique aspect of this train is that all workers are volunteers making the experience even better as you know that your ticket price will be going for a good cause; to preserve historical railway equipment. Watertown Easter Bunny Train Rides. The Tennessee Central Railway Museum located in Nashville, Tennessee, will be boarding this Easter for their Watertown Easter Bunny Trips. All seating is reserved and tickets will need to be purchased in advance as only two departure times are available. Children 2 years of age and under are free. Easter Bunny Express. The Whitewater Valley Railroad in Connersville, Indiana, is an operating railroad museum that specializes in putting smiles on children’s faces. Hop aboard the Easter Bunny Express and chug down two miles of track to the Easter Bunny Patch where children will hunt for Easter eggs. Bring along an Easter basket and a camera for this magical Easter experience like no other. Children 8 years old and under will be able to hunt for eggs during the Easter egg hunt.
