All dressed up with class
Children search all over the grass
The heat beats down everyone’s neck
All the little ones hearts are on deck
They search and search and soon they find
What has always been on their mind
Their parents smile and laugh
As their child acts so daft
They pick up the colored egg
Then run to their parents and beg
To just eat one candy
Just one, not many
Their parents agree
And watch as their child eats with glee
The adults soon leave to enjoy the preacher
Oh, the wonderful joys on the special Easter
