By now, you probably know that George Lopez’s television show, “Lopez Tonight” was cancelled. This happens in television land. However, last night George made a remark during his monologue that he was fired because of the color of his skin.
Now people are wondering about the remark. Does George really believes this or once this a joke that really wasn’t funny?
He went on to talk about the sequel to the Smurfs movie in which he does one of the voices and stated: “So today I lost some work because I’m brown, but I got some work because I’m blue!”
If these are jokes, many aren’t laughing.
Coincidentally, George wasn’t too happy years ago when ABC cancelled his comedy series “George Lopez Show.” He publically stated that he felt dumped then. Yet, he didn’t say anything about race being an issue.
