Dandelions

The edible pest,

Bright yellow flowers,

Bloom early in spring,

Or the fall.

Even in late December thaws.

In the bag you placed them

They still can stand tall.

They let you know
Your soil is bad.
To clean them out
Exercise you must.

Fertilize the soil.
Chop, pluck, and toil
Then make wine of them
Have a drink or two.
Celebrate victory
Don’t mind the hurt

Take care of your dirt.
For dust you are,
And nature recycles
