“Celebrity Rehab” Twitter Tussle Gets Personal Between Kate Major and Jennifer Gimenez

Fresh off of her very public breakup with ex-fiancee, Michael Lohan, on Celebrity Rehab, Kate Major is turning her unbalanced temper on show staffer Jennifer Gimenez.

In an August Twitter assault, the former tabloid reporter, Major, slammed Gimenez for alleged comments made by the actress/recovering cocaine addict/rehab counselor, Gimenez.

“U want to keep talking shiz about me when I met u once & call ML to whine,” Major wrote.

“ML” is likely Major’s link to Gimenez’s television gig, Michael Lohan.

During Celebrity Rehab Season 5, Major and Lohan’s on-again, off-again romance came to head with name-calling blowout. According to staff member, Will Smith, Major smelled of alcohol.

After taping the series in April, the relationship ended, as it has before, with Lohan in police custody.

Major accused Lohan of verbal and physical abuse. The charges against Lohan were dropped when Major did not show at trial to give testimony against him.

In July, prior to Major’s Tweets, Gimenez had given an assessment of the volatile relationship between Major and Lohan on VH1‘s Celebrity Rehab online blog.

“There was no one as destructive as Kate was for Michael,” she said in a transcribed interview. “You’d notice the dynamic and think, ‘this person may not be that great for you.’”

Major did not say what comments Gimenez allegedly made about her.

“I guess all that coke is still in ur head,” she Tweeted.

In an email response, Gimenez said that she didn’t know why she had become a target for Major. She commented further about Major on her Twitter page.

“(I) won’t even waste my time reading her craziness,” Gimenez Tweeted.

Oh, but she did. Like Lohan, Gimenez soon became embroiled in Major’s private war.

“She is a very malice(ful), sick human being,” she wrote.

Following Major’s assault, Gimenez said that she blocked Major from her Twitter account.

Because of their non-communication, Gimenez missed Major’s apology in the days to follow.

According to Major, she had received some bad info.

“I’m very sorry,” she Tweeted. “I shouldn’t have said what I did without knowing the truth.”

“Glad she apologized,” Major told @journalismjunk on Twitter. “Apology accepted.”
