Are They Real? They Look Fake!
Benefit cosmetics and skincare launched new mascara in August 2011. It is called They’re Real! Honest. It was launched at a special Benefit event in Sephora on Aug 20. More than 10,000 units have been sold already.
What makes They’re Real different from other mascaras?
There are two main features that make They’re Real stand out. The first is a new special mascara formula. The second is the mascara brush. The formula results in a jet black glossy color. The brush is very interesting. 1 “The brush is designed with a combination of long and short bristles that provide length and definition. Horizontal and vertical bristles provide smooth and precise application.” Lastly, there is a round shaped tip that gets to the tiniest lashes located in the corners of your eyes and is also used to lift up lashes when used vertically.
How to apply They’re Real
A few simple steps will give you beautiful, dark, long and full lashes. Honest! First use the brush horizontally and layer the top of your top lashes. Then hold the wand and brush up under your top lashes. Now hold the brush with the round top pointed up. Using the point of the brush apply on to the inner smaller lashes on both top and bottom of eye. Lastly, use the round point to lift lashes up and curl.
Other tips include the fact that this mascara can also be used over your favorite mascara. It can also be applied with a bump and wiggle movement. This involves bumping the brush at the base of the eyelashes and wiggling it outwards to add length and volume. The tip of the brush is also used to define and separate individual lashes.
This is great mascara that really works on the smallest and shortest lashes.
