A Review of Nabisco Ginger Snaps Cookies

I am a long time ginger snaps cookie fan. It has been a long time since I have had this treat. I was cookie shopping in my local favorite grocery store, when I came across a box of Nabisco Ginger Snaps Cookies. I decided to buy them, try them out and write a product review all about my personal experience with them. Here is what I discovered!

I bought a box of these cookies for around three dollars and a bit over. They were on sale. I vaguely remembered these cookies from my childhood. As I recalled, they were very good. I could not quite remember if they were made with real molasses and ginger back then, though. The concept sounding promising. I discovered that these cookies are fairly low in fat. They are also cholesterol free and have potassium in them. I had no idea. How fascinating! I could not wait to taste these!

Nabisco Ginger Snaps Cookies come in a large orange and yellow box. Very colorful. There are pictures of the ginger snaps on the front of the box and they looked great. When I tasted these, I loved them. The memories came flooding back. Milk! I needed milk. I love to dunk these in a tall cold glass of milk. The kid in me returned. Yum. These are delicious with milk. Alone, they are quite snappy, crispy and crunchy. The milk tames them down, for sure. These cookies have a sassy ginger flavor. They are addictive and fun to eat. If you are a ginger snap cookie lover, you will like these. I did. There is only one other cookie that I like more than these. Pepperidge Farms molasses crisps. They are perfect. But, Nabisco Ginger Snaps Cookies come in a close second. I rate them four and one half stars out of five stars. Kids love these and many adults do, too, I found out. A relative of mine came over and almost emptied the box. These are that good.

One serving equals four cookies. One serving has 120 calories. Only 20 of those calories come from fat. One serving has 2.5 grams of total fat, just 0.5 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 1 gram of polyunsaturated fat, 0 grams of monounsaturated fat, 0 mg’s of cholesterol, yay, 190 mg’s of sodium, 115 mg’s of potassium, 23 grams of total carbs, 0 grams of dietary fiber, 11 grams of sugars and 1 gram of protein. This snack has tiny amounts of iron and calcium. This product does contain soy, wheat and sulfites.

I loved trying Nabisco Ginger Snaps Cookies and writing a product review about them. They are great, especially with cold milk. I will be buying these again. They have been around for quite a while and I know why. A winner of a cookie.
