i need help with what the name of this prescription is?
Q: I have been dieting. I can not afford alli, but what ever prescription i get is covered 100%, there is a diet drug that starts with the letter O, it is suppost to block absorbtion of fat and calories that are consumed, when i go to the doctor tomorrow i really want to talk to him about putting me on this since my weight loss has hit a plataeu…. if anyone can tell me the name of this drug, or give suggestions on any other diet meds that work like that please let me know the name of it so that i may ask for it tomorrow… serious answers only please and thank you so much in advanceAnd just so that we are clear on everything, i am not trying to use the drug as a lazy way out. All i eat is fruits and veggies and a lean protien of baked chicken for dinner, the most fattening thing i consume is my italian dressing. I walk 2 miles every other day and i do 45 actual sit-ups (not crunches) 6 days out of the week. I have lost 17 lbs since april 26…. but i have been stuck at my current weight for two weeks and i need to lose about 65lbs to get down to my medically ideal weight.
A: It’s Xenical (orlistat). It’s the same ingredient as alli, but it’s a higher strength. Unfortunately, it won’t really help you if you’re not eating that much fat anyway. Do you track how many calories you eat? Or maybe you should change up your exercise routine to see if that can help you break through your plateau.
Are the majority of consumer products crap?
Q: I can’t believe the crap people buy when I am working. Alli, the newest weight-loss drug is selling like crazy at $60 a bottle. Other stuff, such as the newest Fusion razor blades sells at an expensive price of $10 for 4 or so. Meanwhile, it appears that the Sensor Excel does a similar job to the Fusion and is priced much more economically than the Fusion. Alli on the otherhand doesn ot work as well as what the studies show. It is a supplement but yuet the fatties try to use it lose weight. When will people realize that the majority of consumer products is a bunch of crap? All that is necessary is to eat a balanced diet in terms of weightloss and that store brought goods are generally just as good as the name brand stuff.
A: They will only realize this when they understand the brainwashing that advertising and media does. When self worth is defined by media outlets that make people feel bad about themselves, people rush out to purchase the next product that’s bound to get them closer to “perfection”. This is an unattainable goal and will keep most people on a never ending mill of spend, spend, spend, gimme, gimme, gimme. When we as a society learn that our self worth comes from within, not from a magazine cover or a commercial we will be much better off. Of course, the economy will collapse…lol
