What’s the difference between menstrual cycle & pregnancy bleeding?
Q: I’m very curious about you’re own personal experience or those of the people you know. What is the difference between your period and pregnancy bleeding? I keep hearing how some women think they’re experiencing their bleeding when in fact it’s not a period and it’s blood due to pregnancy. was there a difference in the flow, color? How did you know?Answers are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced!OH wow! Thanks! This isn’t what I expected to hear. When I would hear that they (women who thought they were getting a period) thought the pregnancy bleeding was a period because it would come monthly, I figured it was like their normal flow or else why wouldn’t they question it. I appreciate everyone who is answering!! You’re definitely helping!
A: well I am only about 5 weeks, but I have been experiencing spotting only when I wipe that is brown or beige in color. It is never enough to warrant changing my pantyliner until the end of the day as it vary rarely shows up (maybe a spot every other day). This is very very different from my regular period which is usually extremely heavy with dark red blood and clotting.hope this helps.
Pregnancy…Bleeding…Miscarriage….HELP!!?
Q: Has anyone else experienced this???I had a miscarriage on the 17th Feb, only had bleeding for a about three days afterwards. Then only day 49 (49 days past the 17th Feb) I had spotting for one day then a very light flow for one day then spotting for another four days. I was guessing this was period but has extreamly light one. Then on day 16/17 of my new cycle I had spotting again, very very light and only for one day really the second day was only in the morning. It has now stopped again. What could this be?? Could I be pregnant? Has any one experienced bleeding like this in early pregnancy?
A: I had bleeding very early on in my first pregnancy – was told to rest and see what happened – I did this with legs raised and eventually all stopped – went on to have a healthy little girl. Now aged 25
has anyone experienced decidual bleeding in early pregnancy?
Q: this is the type of bleeding that can sometimes be mistaken for a period and therefore cause some women to not believe they are pregnant and sometimes do not know they are pregnant till well into the pregnancy. I am just looking for people who have experienced it and a description of what you experienced and how far along you were when you found out you were pregnant?i had what i thought was my period but it was pretty light- medium flow for 2 days and light on the third. I know this is not implantation bleeding and decidual bleeding is all together a different thing from implantation bleeding – experiences please?
A: well i have not experienced decidual bleeding, but my best friends mother said she did. I can tell you that about 8% of women experience some type of bleeding (that is not a miscarriage) during their pregnancy. That’s all i have for you, but i thought you might like a percentage.
