A: Honestly, the best thing I’ve ever used to help me sleep was benadryl. It is safe for pregnant women and it doesnt have much of what you don’t need in it. Unless you have a headache, you don’t really need tylenol. Tylenol P.M. is just Tylenol and Benadryl. My O.B. pointed this out to me :).

I wouldn’t take any of the pain meds with sleep medication in them because they can be bad on your stomach and liver…the simply sleep stuff is just tylenol pm without the tylenol.
What are the best OTC sleeping pills?
Q: I have tried Benadryl, Tylenol PM, Tylenol Simply Sleep, Unisom, and Sleep MD. They all work about the same for me, so I was just wondering if anyone knew of any other types or brands of sleep aids that I could try? Also, do all over the counter sleeping pills have the same ingredients or is there an ingredient I should look for? I’m just trying to find something that works once and for all, or maybe I just need to switch it up so I don’t get addicted!
A: use Valerian Root when i can’t sleep or my hubby.. we use Valerian Root. U don’t wake up groggy & it’s safe. It’s in the Vit/Suppliment section of any grocer/Walmart/ etc..
