People have rough sex, and sometimes things happen as a result of that. Something might have ripped or who knows. Q: I am a 25 year old woman with no history of gynecological problems but have just experienced heavy vaginal bleeding after intercourse. I felt a burning sensation during sex and when going to the toilet i passed a lot of blood and a lump of what looked like dark blood. I use the implant contraceptive and have been on my period for 3 weeks. This blood after sex was much lighter in colour to my period and I have no further pain.
