Does spotting or extremely light bleeding take place of your period?
Q: I am irregular, always have been. Occasionaly I have spotted before my period. This is different because it lasted 3 days and did not increase in flow and stopped. But it was more than a light spotting, more like a light bleeding. I am normally heavy. I have taken a test and it was negative. I feel no symptoms of being pregnant. I am tired but I have a lot on my plate. What do you think. Did this take place of my period? This happened 1 1/2 weeks ago. I am not or never have been on birth control. So was it my period?
A: This may be that you period is late because you have a lot on your plate. Our cycles are very much affected by stress. If you are still concerned in a few days take another test or get a blood test from the dr. Good Luck
SPOTTING THEN LIGHT PERIOD THEN BROWN SPOTTING?
Q: i was on clomid last month and 3 days ago af showed or what i thought was af,i spotted at first red with mucous for a whole day then a very light flow for another day then spotting again for about 12 hours then stopped completely , then now i went to check and i found a brown rusty like spot in my pad .i never saw this beforemy periods are very accurate they always come on time and they usually come rushing with out spotting and they are normally heavythis is not my periodwhat could this be???
A: Implantation bleeding, also called implantation spotting, does not look like a regular menstrual period. Implantation bleeding is scanty and usually pink or brownish discharge. Implantation bleeding normally occurs a week to a few days before your period would normally start. Spotting that occurs around a week after ovulation is likely implantation bleeding, whereas, spotting that occurs very close to the time that your period would normally start may not be. A normal menstrual cycle generally starts off light and then gets heavier. Spotting can sometimes be the sign of an early period. If this is the case, the spotting will pick up to heavier bleeding. If you have spotting right around the time your period would normally start, it can be more confusing. You will need to take the wait and see approach or take a pregnancy test to determine pregnancy.Implantation bleeding is usually bright fresh blood like that which you would expect to see if you cut your finger. It can also be in the form of a pink mucous stain.Implantation bleeding is fairly common with pregnancy. Twenty to thirty percent of women will have spotting during early pregnancy. If you have some light spotting before your period would normally start this is not something to worry about and may be a sign of pregnancy.Unfortunately, there is no way to tell for sure whether you are pregnant or not until you are 1 day away from your period (at the earliest and more accurate results) or you have missed your period and then to do a test to see whether you are pregnant.Good luck, I hope it works out the way you want it to. 🙂
