Slight to Medium Vagainal Bleeding after Rough sex. Is this common and for how long ?
Q: First and foremost, I don’t have any STD. I do have delayed periods but I don’t think this is my menstruation. I am also in my mid 20’sI actively have sex with my BF and did some mild rough sex before with no issues for the past 2 years. I recently just had a new partner and I do have to say he has a slightly bigger genital than my ex. Upon having sex for the first time just last night ( and I have not have sex for about a good 1.5 months ) we did it rough and had no issues. Except on the morning session, it felt very painful since I was still dry. We stopped after that. I will admit that our intercourse was rough that evening and WE DID USE PROTECTION. A few hours later at home, I noticed I have a bit of spotting. I didn’t show on my underwear but noticed it as I cleaned myself.I heard vaginal bleeding after rough sex is common. I would like to know long how does this last and what should I do or need to worry about if its serious. We did use lube, but not during the morning session. There still some blood, like having your first day of period. It does not go to my undies though but it is on my vagina when I look at it. Is there anything I should do?
A: It’s not serious, and it is quite common. It shouldn’t last more that 1 or 2 days at the most.
Spontaneous vaginal bleeding?
Q: My period ended 2 or 3 days ago, everything as normal, but this morning after urinating I noticed a few small blobs of blood in the toilet, and blood on the toilet paper after wiping. Since then, when I wipe after peeing, there has been blood on the paper, but the urine is clear. I checked the area for cuts but found nothing. I also have a slight burning sensitivity in my abdomen. Is this just delayed period blood coming out, or a sign of something more serious?
A: This could be a bladder infection, or urinary tract, or some other abnormality. Get to a doctor.
I have only 1 partner. Last week I had vaginal bleeding after sex? Is this a STD symptom?
Q: I have had the same boyfriend for 2 years. We were living together, but i recently moved back in with my mom to save money, so we’re obviously not having sex as often. I have never bled after intercourse before. We had sex 2 times on friday night and 1 time saturday afternoon – that is when i started to bleed…and he was the one who made me aware of it cause he saw the blood on him. I bled heavily for saturday and sunday (heavier than any period i ever had, which is never alot). We haven’t had sex since and I haven’t bled since.I’m 99% positive it was NOT my period. Could this be the symptom of an STD or is it just because I am “not used” to having sex as often. I had a slight suspicion he may have cheated on me with this one girl, and I found out tonight she is on anti-biotics for an STD. Please help! What is the reason for this? Should I get tested? Am I worried for no reason?Sorry for the graphic details, but i’m scared I’m either diseased or being cheated on. Please leave serious answers only…I don’t need comments on my sex life. Thank you!
A: I had it happen once and it was a slight tear in the vagina. The Dr. cauterized it. Its not indicative of an STD.I can feel the awful thing in the pit of your stomach from thinking he’s cheated. It is what is called a woman’s intuition, I swear. It is a gift and curse all at once. It is a ball of emotions all snarled together. Here you are being honest and true and they can’t learn that it is ok to not act on each feeling they get. I would get tested for everything if I were you so you have peace of mind. Then, no matter what bull excuses guys give you insist on condoms. Take charge.
