Q: i am 28 years old and currently taking levlen ed a 30mg combined pill. since taking it i have gained weight that i cannot bugde i eat a healthy diet and do cardio workouts and yoga 5 times a week. i have body analysis scales and my fat level and what not does not change. A: I’ve tried levlen ed, marvelon and yazmin. I was on levlen for over a year but the others only a couple of months. I finally decided that hormonal birth control wasn’t right for my body and switched to a non-hormonal copper IUD. It’s been great, no hassle to remember pills and I’ve lost weight! I’d definitely reccomend it to you, maybe the hormones aren’t agreeing with you either?
