I think it’s safe to say the most common sign of a miscarriage is bleeding, so if you’re not bleeding I wouldn’t be too concerned. Talk to your doctor if you’re really worried about it.

What does miscarriage feel like?
Q: I have been diagnosed with blighted ovum and miscarriage is eminent. I think the process may be beginning today, but I will have to wait and see. I’m scared. Can anyone describe what I should expect if you’ve gone through a natural miscarriage? Anything that can prepare me for this experience would be very helpful. I am very nervous about it.Many thanks.By the way, I am 12 weeks “pregnant” if that makes a difference.
A: I was diagnosed w/ a blighted ovum yesterday at 8 weeks. I have had a miscarriage before. It feels alot like a bad/heavy period. I have found that the cramps are uncomfortable. I try to use a heating pad, ibuprofen and hot baths. I understand your loss. ANd don’t let someone tell you that you aren’t “pregnant”. Your body did fertilize an egg, it was just re-absorbed by the body at an early stage. You still most likely developed a placenta and had normal hormone levels. Just take care of yourself. If you need to take a few days of work, do it. Your dr should be able to give you a note to give your employer. I am so sorry for your loss. Just take care of yourself.

Q: What does a miscarriage feels like to experience?Especially those in very early stages of gestation, where there is no still born?I’m asking for a blow by blow account really.I think i may have experienced one, in very early prenancy. But I didn’t know if i was pregnant or not prior to this.I’m 24 and the pain was horrendous, but came very quickly.I passed out on the bathroom floor, was unable to stand and had a flow of blood practically pouring from me.After about an hour, i was so weak and had to sleep.I slept for around 5 hours, then felt fine and had a normal period.Your experiences?I didnt go to the doctor, because I didn’t, and still don’t know if i was carrying.I spoke to my mother, who told me i was just having a rough period, and she told me to take some painkillers and helped me into bed. I was fine after my sleep, so i never pushed the subject. Please can you help me in describing your own?EDIT:this all happened over a year ago.I’m fine, don’t tell me to go and see anyone.
A: i had a miscarriage recently and it sounds like you had one from my experience..i was 14weeks pregnant, i lost my baby on a saturday..i was in so much pain and had alot of blood loss and also clumps,i also felt weak but went straight to the hospital as i knew i was pregnant,i know you said it happened a year ago but i would go back and discuss this with your doctor because if it was a miscarriage and you havnt had it removed..it might affect you having children later on,i had to go back to the hospital a couple of times to have ultra sounds to make sure everything had gone..good luch hun xxx
If A Pregnancy Test shows Positive from leftover miscarriage HCG,How long did it take for yours to go down?
Q: If You have a miscarriage, feel like your going to have a period, yest test Positive on a test that I think is just from being leftover from a miscarriage 2 months ago, that means I won’t get my period until the test goes back to negative correct? Or can the HCG level be super low and then start a period?
A: i had a miscarriage over a year ago and then 2 months later I started spotting and it wouldn’t stop. I was newly pregnant, but it was an exctopic pregnancy. You could be newly pregnant, or you may still have tissue that was not expelled that is reproducing cells if you did not have a D&C. I would consult a doctor right away and let them know you are still showing a positive pregnancy test.
