- Is this possibly implantation bleeding?
- Q: I’ve tried to read as many articles on it as I can but am very confused about it.It started 2 days ago (4 days before my period was supposed to start) as a dark red bleeding (kind of watery, not thick and no thick clot bits and turned light almost immediately after it started). Then it stopped for a day and now I’ve noticed a light brown/pink discharge with the occasional light bleeding of bright red blood. But that only lasted a couple hours and has stopped. I’ve been pregnant once before (ended in a miscarriage at 3 months) and had no bleeding around the missed period, but could this actually be a sign i’m pregnant or an irregular period? (The husband and I do have unprotected sex and are trying to conceive). I know the only sure way is to get a test, but I’m kind of paranoid I’m just looking for things that might mean I’m pregnant. The week before I had very tender breasts and cried at the drop of a pin, but that could just be pms.Any comments are appreciated. =)
- A: I would have a blood hcg test done. Good luck to you!
- Bleeding . . . ?
- Q: Okay I only want serious answers . . . sorry if this might be TMI for some of you . . . Before I get any of the “go to the doctor to find out” answers, I can’t go yet b/c my insurance hasn’t kicked in yet so I am having to wait a couple more weeks.Okay so I was pretty sure that I might be pregnant.Well my husband and I were messing around a little bit the other day and all that. (I was already thinking that I might be preg. by this time) Shortly after, like within an hour I started bleeding, it was really light but there. It ended up lasting for a couple days, was light the entire time and then it stopped.I started thinking that it might have been my period but normally my period is heavier and I hate to give TMI but normally has like the really thick times from the lining or w/e.has anyone had this happen?
- A: could be your period or it could have been implantation bleeding.I’d wait a couple weeks and then take a test. Then when you finally can, go to the doctor just to make sure. Some people, not many, actually have a period throughout their pregnancy. One of my friends had her period for the first 5 months.Good Luck and best wishes.
- Should I be concerned about having light periods?
- Q: I am a 26 yr old healthy female. I have been having light periods for as long as I can remember. There is always light bleeding on the 1st day and then spotting for 2 days. I have never bothered about it much until recently when I miscarried with my first baby at 8 weeks. Does anybody know whether my light periods may be a cause for the m/c? Maybe my endometrial lining is not thick enough or something? (I know about chromosomal abnormalities in early pregnancy causing most m/cs, but still kinda worried).I am planning to visit the doctor anyways, but sometimes it helps to know peoples experiences/knowledge to know that I am not alone.Any comments would be helpful. Thanks
- A: I understand your concern about relating your light periods to your miscarriage. However, for many people, light periods are just normal. In addition, many people have a miscarriage at some time. Yes, bring this concern up to your doctor. However, one miscarriage is generally not too big of a concern. Having multiple miscarriages is a sign that something is wrong.
