Q: This question may be a little long and hard to comprehend, but bare with me please. I was wondering if its possible to fall pregnant even if you dont have any fertile mucus. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex 13 days after my period, but I didn’t have any stretchy, clear mucus (fertile mucus.) I had like a thin, creamy lotion like discharge. So i went online and they said the lotion-like discharge is fertile, and the egg white, stretchy discharge is very fertile. So basically my question is can a women still fall pregnant even though she doesn’t have “very fertile” mucus?? p.s Sorry if tmi, and hard to understand.Thanksss

A: it depends on the quaility of the sperm. fertile mucus helps the swimmers along. Some of those little guys get real determined and can make it up there with out the help : )

Anyone had negative urine & blood test – still pregnant?

Q: Hi. New here. My last period was Sept. 19th. Its been six weeks since then and I am now two weeks late with 5 neg htps & 1 neg blood test from today at the doctors. My husband and I are in our 20’s and just had all-around physicals that showed us we were healthy. We have been ttc for 6 months. I am PRETTY SURE that I am pregnant…as I have NEVER missed a period or even been a week late in my life – I am now 24, almost 25. I am not stressed or any of the other bulls*** the nurse/doc tried to sell me when they told me my blood test was negative. Why is no one understanding/compassionate of women who are tcc? They just think we are dillusional. I dont have alot of preg symptoms other than slight fatigue/headache, vaginal discharge, missed period, slight weight gain and XTREME moodiness. I am usually a very upbeat person. I am going crazy thinking i could still be pregnant…but with nothing to show i am and not alot of people willing to listen to my symptoms. The doc told me i could not come back until i missed my period for another 8 weeks. 8 weeks?? thats torture. I know this may be a standard thing for this situation, but if im not pregnant id like to know why after all these years i just skipped an entire menstrual cycle…especially after i started ttc. if there is something else causing this i would like a doctor to try and help me, not bannish me from the doctors office cuz she thinks im crazy. im so frustrated. i practically had to beg for the blood test too…they were willing to dismiss me based on the urine test alone, instead of trying to get to the bottom of why i had missed. So I will continue to act as pregnant untill AF or i get a postive test. It would really lift my spirits to hear from anyone that had negative tests but were still pregnant. Ive read about it online, I know it is rare, but it can happen right??I can’t stress enough that I have never ever been late or missed a period. I am in shape, not stressed and very confused. A: Honestly, I didn’t read your entire question BUT my friend just found out she’s pregnant – a TOTAL surprise. She and her husband had major troulble conceiving their first child, but finally, they did it. Four months ago they decided to start trying for their second child… thinking it would take a while. She kept feeling pregnant, but after 3 negative home tests, she figured she wasn’t. Finally, last month she went to the doctor and he gave her a test (different than the pee test) and IT came back NEGATIVE… so she goes home, but keeps just feeling pregnant, but after 3 negs at home and 1 at the dr, figured she was just burnt out from work or something. Well a couple of weeks later she goes to the doctor – still a negative test, but they did an ultrasound and I kid you not – there is the little baby… FOUR MONTHS! Amaing 🙂 Why did the tests fail? I don’t know, but it is possible 🙂 Good luck 🙂
