If her period is late, she needs to take a test. If you can’t buy home pregnancy tests where you are, she’ll have to go to the doctor. It IS possible that she could get pregnant that way.

Q: I work with a girl who suspects she is pregnant. She’s been to the doctor (they say they don’t know what is wrong with her) and taken a few home tests. This has been going on for about five months… She says that she had a three day light period but they are typically seven and heavy. She has all of the classic symptoms. Nausea being one, so much that she’s been prescribed something for it. And her abdomen seems to be growing as it would at five months. Is it possible that her body isn’t making enough HCG to be detected in regular HPTs? I recommended that she ask for the blood test. Any ideas?She mentioned something about them doing blood work in a month from now if she doesn’t start feeling better. I told her to go to a different doctor and ask for the blood test now… If she’s already five months in then she needs prenatal care.

Today my friend (the girl) took 2 home pregnancy tests and both came out NEGATIVE….but she’s telling me that there are certain feelings she gets when she’s about to get her period but none of those feelings have come she says….IS SHE PREGNANT?she also had her period like 2 days after she had sex with the guy but she’s telling me that that period doesn’t count so their waiting for the period supposedly coming now…

Some women can’t get accurate results on home pregnancy tests.But in this situation, there’s hardly a chance that she’s pregnant, especially since he wasn’t any where near ejaculating (or probably even pre-ejaculating) AND she had her period right after wards (yes, that period DOES count, how old is she?!).However, if her period turns out to be 1-2 weeks late, tell her to take another test or go to the doctor’s.I can’t really say if she’s pregnant or not, but I’ll just say that there’s a 99.9% chance that she’s not.
