We all have stuff. Most of the time we buy certain things to tackle specific tasks and in doing so lose sight of the potential ways that our lives can be made easier. Finding uncommon uses for everyday items gives them more value than considered at the time they were originally purchased.
Aluminum foil has found many uses is countless households; most commonly related to cooking. Aluminum foils have been used for wrapping paper and make-shift baseballs along with the occasional usage as a pet toy. We have all done something with foil that was other than its intended usage. Well, here are some more ideas for that wonderful shiny substance.
Sun Box
Remove the top and one side from a cardboard box then line the interior with aluminum foil. Place plants in the box and set it near a window. The foil will reflect light helping the stems to grow straight instead of bent toward the sunlight.
Heat Reflector
Conserve energy by taping heavy-duty foil to insulation board, Place the board behind radiators and baseboard convectors to produce more directed heat.
Foot Warmer
Cover heated stones with foil and then wrap them with a towel. Place them in the bottom f your sleeping bag to warm your feet while camping in cold weather.
