As we enjoy food preparation and the culinary arts, or perhaps just a tasty meal, we may not always take into consideration the wonders our food and herbs can truly do for us and the health and well-being of our bodies.

Basil is founded to contain cinnamanic acid, which is considered to enhance circulation, stabilize blood sugar and improve the breathing in those with the respiratory difficulties.

As Basil is considered very high in antioxidants, especially when used as an extract or oil, it protects the body from free radicals that are more related with the aging process, most forms of cancer and some skin ailments. Antioxidants are an important part of keeping the body healthy. Various scientific researches have shown how this combination is great for the increase and protection of the immune system.
