Thanksgiving would not be Thanksgiving without the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade – a New York City tradition since 1924. The Macy’s Parade is a monumental annual NYC event, with 3.5 million people lining the streets and more than 50 million people viewing at home. The more than 10,000 participants in Macy’s Parade 2011 will walk the nearly six-mile route through Manhattan.
