Releasing Endorphins: A Natural Way of Feeling Better

Endorphins are hormones released by our bodies during certain activities. They’re sort of like our body’s natural version of morphine. With the much welcomed affect of reducing our stress and enhancing our mood, who wouldn’t want them? Fortunately, there are several easy ways of releasing them. Exercise: Yeah, you know it was coming. Exercise is always a positive thing so it only makes sense that it releases endorphins. This explains that overall good feeling you get after completing a hard workout. Spicy Food: Now I’ve never been a big fan of spicy food myself, but I guess this sheds some light on why some people eating crazy things that burn their taste buds off. Love: I know this is something you can’t control, and it kind of speaks for itself. If your in love obviously you feel better. Chocolate: I’m sure not many people will have a problem with eating chocolate. Just makes sure it’s in moderation of course. Your not going to be too happy with a stomach ache. Laughter: That’s right just laugh. Watch your favorite comedy shows, hang out with friends and tell funny jokes. The endorphins will be flowing in no time. Music: When your stressed just listen to your favorite music. Sit back and relax and listen to the music. It’s as simple as that. Sex: Endorphins are released during orgasm. Enough said.
