It’s hard to think of becoming a hero,
When my thoughts are more akin to some despot like Nero.
I’m not a martyr,
I’m just sick of being the 1950s father.
All suits,
Black boots.
Carrying on like I’ve never wanted to be in cahoots.
Reflexion and introspection is not just about acknowledging ones roots,
It requires a self-awareness of all these other niggling moots.
It’s hard to have any confidence in thought processes that are concerned only with who or what to loot.
