Obama’s Jobs Bill Speech – Same Song; Different Lyrics

Each time Obama wants one of his bills passed through, he comes up with the most prolific speech to gain support from those who he promised change to three years ago when he was running for president. Tonight’s Jobs Bill speech is no different from the “Yes, We Can” and “Health Care Reform” speeches; except for the words.

If he really wants people to get behind him on this, then he needs to buck up, keep and get jobs back to the U.S. that belong here, and quit dilly dallying around with money he doesn’t have to spend. Instead, he wants to lay blame, point the finger, give props where props don’t belong, and make himself look good for the next presidential election.

There are too many unemployed people in the U.S. that needed those jobs years ago, like those who keep getting laid off at the airplane factories in Wichita, Kansas. Then there are the teachers who aren’t sure if they are going to have jobs at the beginning of any school year due to budget cuts, but yet he thinks out of the box thinkers in our schools today are going to save the country. It’s rather hard to do that when there aren’t those in the position to teach these students what they need to know to do that.

Then there are those who are graduating college who can’t find jobs in their chosen fields due to those who are unemployed, underemployed, the elderly on SSI who can’t afford the medications much less go out and spend money for just because, and those who are retiring finding themselves in the same position as the others mentioned.

If he truly wants to get people back to work, Congress, Senate, and he need to get their acts together and quit arguing over nonessential things like cutting tax credits for businesses who own jets. That right there would create jobs in the airplane industry which would trickle down to other businesses who make parts, ship parts, buy planes, have their planes repaired and repaired, new planes for the airlines, and the list goes on and on.

What much of the joblessness would take is for him to undo what he has done in the past three years to put Americans back to work. Even a high school grad can see that.
