We’re ordinary people
with…
ordinary lives,
just trying –
to make ends meet.
There’s no point
in complaining…
as self acceptance,
is better –
than defeat.
Yet, we work even harder
to earn…
what the rich have,
why shouldn’t –
we have the same?
But, there’s one thing
they can’t grab…
that, we have
in plenty –
no money with no shame.
They tell us
to work longer…
without,
any real long term –
financial gain.
Take away
our pensions…
and,
our savings interest –
so we end up just the same.
