NBA Player’s Association Rejects Latest Offer

The National Basketball Players Association has rejected the league’s last offer and will disband, putting the entire season in jeopardy. Who actually cares?

I was floored this morning when one of the lawyers seeking to drum up sympathy for the players had the audacity to state that many in the league will have problems because they do not handle their money right. He went on to suggest that a lot of players have multiple mortgages; must support their families and friends; and have lifestyles that cannot be sustained. You have got to be kidding me. One important thing that he forgot to mention was that they will all have to cut back on tattoos.

On a different note player’s attorney Jeffrey Kessler told the Washington Post that the owners are treating the players like “plantation workers.” Give me a break! Welcome to the real world gentlemen; because nobody gives a s…!
