Michigan Fall Color Tours: The Best Places to See the Colors of a Midwest Fall

Although fall has not officially started parts of Michigan have already seen the changing of the seasons. Some trees have already begun to shed their green color and adapted into a beautiful shade of yellow. Other trees have already shed their leaves in preparation for winter.

As someone who grew up on an agricultural farm with parents who sold pumpkins, donuts, and other regular fall items, it remains one of my favorite seasons. The leaves changing color in Michigan is one of the best times of the year. Grab your family and hop into your car. There are several routes throughout the state and places to stop to witness the beauty of nature. To get an idea on the best times to take a drive and when certain locations of Michigan will be at their peak Michigan.org offers a Fall Peak Map.
