Broome county has a decent amount of bars and pubs. Many of those bars and pubs have a featured karaoke night once a week. I would like you to know about what is in my opinion the best karaoke around. Even though there are so many places you can go in the Binghamton area to sing your heart out to songs of your choosing, I believe that Spinnawebb Karaoke does the absolute best job in town. Spinnawebb is a great DJ company. They host Karaoke every Thursday night at Fitzies Irish Pub located at 9 Main Street in Binghamton, New York. Their karaoke night runs from 8pm until close every Thursday. They have a vast selection of songs to choose from and if you ask the host about a song you want that you don’t see in the song catalog she will see if its something she has available. She has also been known to add some songs to her list of what is available if you ask nice. What I like best about Fitzies Irish Pub’s karaoke night other than the awesome people who go there and their fantastic drink prices , is that they have challenges that you can chose to do. If you do a challenge you will earn a free shot of your choice. The challenges are a lot of fun, I know from experience. What happens is the DJ gets to pick the song, and its generally something very popular and a lot of the time very funny, then she will let you know how many props you must use. To successfully complete your challenge you have to sing the whole song using the props provided. Even if you are or at least think you are a horrible singer you will still win the challenge as long as you stay up their and sing your challenge song. The props range from wigs and silly glasses to inflatable instruments and hilarious hats. If you love to sing, or just want a good laugh, this karaoke night is for you!
