John Cena Agrees that the Current WWE Championship Title Needs a New Look

Former WWE Champion John Cena agrees with majority of the WWE Universe that the current WWE Championship Title needs a new look. On Twitter, John Cena took part in a Q&A on Monday (Nov 28, 2011).
Cena gave this response when asked if the current WWE Spinner belt needs a new look:

“I have thought that for 3 years. Either classic or new. It needs a change”

The current feel is CM Punk could introduce a new WWE Championship in the near future. CM Punk is on with the same page as the WWE Universe (and IWC), and knows everyone wants a new look to the WWE Championship.

Also, it has been rumored that CM Punk will reign as the Champion until WM 28, and it’s more than enough time for a new title to be introduced.

Since April 11, 2005, the WWE Championship has had the flashy hip hop look with the spinner, diamonds and etc (introduced by John Cena). Since No Mercy 2007, the spinner piece was discontinued and other small things were removed. For the most part, the current WWE Title that Cena has introduced in 2005 has remained the same.

Most wrestling fans want a classic WWE Championship or a new look introduced. One noteworthy fact is since 2005, the WWE Championship has changed hands nearly 40 times.
