1-sheet, orange, black, purple, green construction paper
Ruler
Scissors
Paper crimper
White glue
Glitter
Stapler and staples
Orange, purple and/or black tinsel

Instructions:

Step 1: Cut four strips of construction paper 1-inch wide and 12-inches long from orange, black and purple construction paper. Cut three strips of green construction paper 2-inches wide and 4-inches long.

Step 2: Crimp the rectangular pieces of construction paper. Roll one piece to create a stem 2-inches tall and approximately 1-inch wide. Staple the stem together. Cut a ¼-inch strip off one green square of crimped construction paper 4-inches long. Cut the two rectangles into leaf shapes. One will be narrower than the other.

Step 3: Place two 1-inch wide strips of construction paper in a plus sign on a flat work surface. Staple the two together. Criss cross the remaining eleven 1-inch strips to make a star shape. Staple the strips into place.

Step 4: Curve the first four ends of the strips up to make a ball and staple together. Place orange, purple and/or black tinsel in the center of the sphere. Secure the remaining ends to the top of the ball with staples.

Step 5: Glue the stem in the center of the ball to make a pumpkin. Glue the leaves in the desired location next to the stem. Curl the ¼-inch strip into a spiral to use as the vine on the pumpkin. Glue into place.
