Hulk (Marvel Comics Universe)
Hulk is a fictional gargantuan American comic character, which operates in a reality known as Marvel Universe. Jack Kirby and Stan Lee created the popular comic character for the U.S comics and related media publishing company Comic Marvel Worldwide, Inc. The Hulk cast first appeared in the Incredible Hulk 1 in May 1962. Comic fans and others watched in awe for the first time at this monstrous character, which, of course, is the alter ego of a reclusive, reserved, and incredibly brilliant physicist Dr. Bruce Banner.
Very beginnings
Dr. Bruce Banner caught in a gamma bomb blast, set the stage for the brilliant scientist to transform into a raging, green, and giant monster in times of anger.
Personality
Bruce Banner had a very disturbed childhood. His father was a chronic alcoholic who prefers his bottles to Bruce Banner. In fact, he hated Bruce Banner with passion. What affection Bruce Banner couldn’t get from his father, he found in his mother. A special relationship between mother and son was set in stone much to the chagrin of his father. The Jealousy escalated from fighting, bitter exchanges of words, and all manners of torture to murderer. Bruce Banner father didn’t only cold-bloodedly murdered his wife but also intimated and abused his son in an effort to prevent him from going to the police. His unfatherly lifestyle and even later abuse to himself landed him in a psychiatric hospital.
Bruce Band was a gifted child whose intelligence is nothing short but genius wrapped in pain, sorrow, and anger clothing. He had problem fitting in at school. Just as many brilliant geeks, he was bullied, laughed at, and caused to think low of himself as a mere toilet paper from the devil’s estate.
He only found peace and comfort in his cousin Jennifer Walters. He was expelled from school after he planted a bomb in the basement. Although the bomb was a dud, he was expelled anyway. That was how the military came to notice him and he eventually went on to become a doctor in nuclear physics and helping the government develop clean nuclear power energy.
Superpowers
The Hulk possesses limitless physical strength, which is directly proportional to his level of anger. Little wonder why he often makes the comment, ” The madder Hulk gets the stronger Hulks gets”. Hulk is a living engine of destruction with so much stamina, endurance, and strength.
Hulk is resistant to damage and has a special regenerative healing and adaptive abilities. He has powerful legs that he uses to leap across continents and shuttle to space at his chosen.
