How to Copy PS3 Games

With the PS3 being the most state of the art games console currently available on the market. Of course the games are also going to be some of the most expensive. Any serious gamer will have a PS3 and like many of us, we all know how pricey these games are to replace.

I treat my games like they are worth a million bucks. Making sure the time between removing them from the case, to inserting it into the console is as short as possible. Ensuring I don’t drop them, and trying to refrain from causing any major scratches. But do you know that just repeatedly playing a game can cause tiny scratches on the disc, which could eventually result in the game becoming unplayable!

I’m sure we can all remember the time when we have gone to get our favourite game out of its safe, neatly stored case. Only to find its not in there? Damn, where can it be? Scanning the room, and seeing it face down on the floor in the corner. How the hell did it get there? Hoping that when we pick it up we don’t see one thing. A massive scratch on the underside, making it useless. Then having to treck it down to the local game store, forking out another hundred dollars just so we can complete that mission we have been waiting all day at work to do. Yes I have been there many times, and I’m sure you have too.

Recently, after a lot of research, and finally deciding not to try and install a mod chip in my PS3. I discovered that you can copy and backup your entire game collection with one simple piece of software. As long as it can get past the built in security on games, that usually prevent you from copying them. Your set to go.

Get you hands on this software. Then simply:

– Insert your PS3 game into your PC’s drive
– Use this software to create a copy of the game, save it onto your computer somewhere easily accessible
-Take out the game, then insert a blank DVD, then using the software burn the saved file onto the blank disc
– Eject the disc, and you will now have a perfect 1:1 backup of your PS3 game.

You can repeat this process with every single game you own. Making a complete backup of your entrie library. Now everytime you want to play a game, just simply use the copied game, instead of the original. This way you can keep those master copies in tip top condition forever.

Don’t worry this method is not illegal. Creating a copy for your own personal use is perfectly find. Just don’t do distributing them, or selling these discs.

Wondering where to find some good, reliable software to copy games. You can copy PS3 games with these applications here.
