Brad Pitt’s name was once synonymous with sexy. The talented actor received People’s “Sexiest Man Alive” award multiple times and led normally well-behaved fans to scream and drool in his presence. Despite changing hairstyles and taking on very different roles, Pitt maintained his level of appeal for a very long period of time. From “Legends of the Fall” to “Fight Club” to “Troy,” Brad was at the top of his game.
Is Brad’s sex appeal slipping away from him? Has the movie star passed his prime?
Age: Pitt is getting older. Even his uber-level of hotness cannot completely defy time. Although he is aging very well, some of his newer fashion and facial hair choices haven’t exactly complimented his looks. Who can forget this scraggly beard [Picture here]? Definitely not a good look for the superstar. No one can deny though, that despite advancing age, Brad is still one very attractive man!
Life Changes: Brad is now settled down with partner Angelina Jolie and a father to six young children. While being a devoted father and partner is a sexy attribute, it is how he transitioned into this relationship that has hurt his overall sex appeal. Formerly married to “Horrible Bosses” star Jennifer Aniston, Pitt and Jolie shared over-flowing chemistry in the film “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” that began rumors of infidelity. were reinforced when the pair hooked up. The start of their relationship has a fuzzy timeline when compared to when his marriage ended. Jen is an extremely popular actress. Many people felt she was slighted in their marriage and lost some love for her ex-husband.
Competition: Hollywood is filled with attractive men. Young, hot actors are a staple in many movies, and with the Superhero genre in full-swing, many of those men are wearing form-fitting outfits over buff, sculpted muscles. Brad will always be “one of the greats,” but Ryan Reynolds, Chris Hemsworth, and Henry Cavill are taking over the lead. Add vampires to this mix of gorgeous heroes, including the blood-sucking Alexander Skarsgard and “Twilight’s” sparkly Robert Pattinson, and Pitt falls further down the list.
So, while Pitt may no longer reign supreme at the top of Hollywood’s hottest men, he’s still an incredibly sexy and talented actor!
