Frye Melissa Logo Boot

The Frye Melissa Logo Boot is a completely unique look in the women’s Frye collection this year. It has the streamlined style of the Melissa, with gorgeous inlay logo detailing at the top of the shaft, along with metallic half rings. The look it a bit difficult to picture just with words, but could possibly best be described as a bolder Melissa style with a true vintage look. It is available in a single color combination of dark brown and black and has a retail price of around $390.

If you are one of us who are fond of this boot, yet would like to check it against other specific looks and prices, here are a few similar styles of boots to look over:

Frye Melissa Trapunto:

This boot is another from the Melissa collection, having a similar overall look compared to the Logo, but of course without the logo. It does however have a vintage look to the leather with an elegant but worn look. Trapunto detailing makes this boot even more special, available in a single shade for a retail price of around $350.

Frye Amelia Logo Boot:

Another current boot from the women’s Frye collection is the Amelia Logo. Like the Melissa Logo, this boot features a logo design toward the top of the boot shaft, yet this style has a different cut and overall look compared to the Melissa and the logo is a patch as opposed to an inlay. This is a sleek and streamlined boot, smooth lines and very feminine. It is available in a few different colors and has a retail price of around $350.

Etienne Aigner Chastity Boot:

The Chastity boot from Etienne Aigner is a tall riding boot style, constructed completely of leather for the upper. This style also has an engraved logo toward the top of the boot shaft, and has a bit of a different look to the Melissa especially in the general look of the boot shaft leather which has a shinier appearance with the Chastity compared to an antiqued look with the Melissa. This boot has a number of different colors it can be found in and has a retail price of around $190.

It would be tough to top the sleek vintage look of the Frye Melissa Logo boot, yet if you don’t necessarily have your heart set on this particular boot, the remaining boots in the list above may also strike your fancy.
