Kindle 3 improvements over the Kindle 2

The new eInk Pearl Screen offers a better viewing experience than the Kindle 2, and better than most of the eReader competition. Amazon claims the improvement is 50% over the previous contrast, and I can see that. With that comes even better ability to read in direct sunlight. If you put the Kindle 2 and Kindle 3 side by side, you wonder how you put up with the Kindle 2. The difference really is that noticeable, and the improvement is enjoyable
